About the Role

We are seeking a highly capable audit professional with 7-10 years of experience auditing public companies to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise in auditing standards (including SOX Sections 302 and 404) with an adaptable, proactive mindset and a passion for working with cutting-edge technology. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Technology team to design and implement groundbreaking solutions, transforming traditional audit processes.

Responsibilities

• Leverage deep knowledge of auditing standards (AICPA and PCAOB) and accounting principles to contribute to the development of innovative audit technology solutions.

• Collaborate closely with clients and our Technology team to identify opportunities where technology can significantly enhance audit quality and efficiency.

• Act as a technical expert, guiding technology implementations to meet regulatory and audit standards.

• Lead and execute thorough testing and validation of new technological solutions to ensure accuracy, reliability, and scalability.

• Stay abreast of evolving auditing standards, industry developments, and technological advancements to continuously elevate the capabilities of our solutions.

• Provide insights and feedback to the Technology team, ensuring alignment of technology solutions with practical audit requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Accounting or Finance.

• CPA certification required.

• 7-10 years of professional audit experience, specifically auditing public companies.

• Strong technical proficiency in auditing standards, including AICPA, PCAOB, and SOX compliance.

• Adaptable self-starter comfortable with ambiguity and enthusiastic about embracing new technologies.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen interest in technological innovation.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating across teams and engaging directly with clients.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within a Big Four firm audit practice.

• Prior involvement with technology-driven audit tools or platforms.
